Digital notebooks featuring E Ink screens offer users a nostalgic, paper-like experience while integrating modern technology. The latest addition to this trend is the Bigme B7, a color E Ink tablet that blends creativity with cutting-edge features.
First teased on Chinese social media last month, the Bigme B7 has now made its way to Bigme’s global store, signaling its upcoming international release.
Display and Resolution Features
As suggested by its name, the device boasts a 7-inch Kaleido 3 E Ink display. The screen provides a color resolution of 632 x 840 pixels (150 ppi) and reaches 1,264 x 1,680 pixels (300 ppi) in grayscale.

The Bigme B7 includes fast-refresh technology to reduce ghosting, ensuring a smooth reading and writing experience. It also comes with a stylus that offers 4,096 pressure levels and can be magnetically attached to the tablet’s edge, so you never lose track of your writing tool.
What truly sets this e-note apart is its built-in 4G connectivity, which allows internet access and the ability to make calls while on the go. It even features a function to transcribe voice calls into text, supporting 37 languages and translations for easier record keeping.

Performance and Storage Capacity
The 2.4-GHz octa-core processor with 8 GB of RAM powers the tablet inside its slim 5.8-mm frame. It runs on Android and comes with 128 GB of storage, expandable up to 1 TB via a media card slot.
The device also supports Bluetooth 5.1 for connecting peripherals or earphones, and features a 5-megapixel rear camera for document scanning or taking pictures.
The Bigme B7 is available for pre-order at $229, down from the suggested retail price of $299, with shipping expected to begin on May 10.
