Lexus has just unveiled the successor to its iconic LFA supercar, more than a decade after discontinuing the original. The new model features updated underpinnings, striking styling, and an electric powertrain to replace the V10 engine.

    Lexus Sport Concept

The car was first shown in August during Monterey Car Week as the Sport Concept, and Lexus is still calling it a “concept” for now, meaning its exact performance details remain unclear.

What we do know is that it shares a platform with Toyota’s new GR GT supercar and its track-focused GT3 variant. These models are hybrid twin-turbo V8 machines, built with expertise from Toyota’s motorsport division.

The platform optimizes aerodynamic performance and rigidity, actively maintaining a low center of gravity while minimizing overall weight. An all-aluminum frame, a sculpted coupe design, and a 107.3-inch wheelbase work together to achieve this.

The car is full of visual appeal, from the sleek side-mounted rearview cameras to the bold rear with eye-catching lighting details, and the commanding front end with its smooth, flowing hood. It exudes speed even when stationary.

Fingers crossed for these slick rear-view cameras making it to production

    A Driver-Centric, Immersive Experience

Inside the LFA Concept, you’ll find a driver-focused two-seater cabin built to immerse you in the driving experience. The low driver’s seat features a yoke-style steering wheel, with intuitive controls for easy access, keeping your focus on the road. The minimalist interior features a sleek monochrome display cluster.

The low seating position, focused driver display, and cocoon-like cockpit are meant to keep you squarely focused on the road ahead

The previous LFA, with a 4.8-liter V10, delivered 553 hp, 354 lb-ft of torque, and a top speed of 202 mph. Only 500 units were ever made. In comparison, the Toyota GR GT boasts significantly more power, with 641 hp and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque.

If the LFA Concept becomes a production model, its electric powertrain could match or exceed those performance numbers. Expect to pay six figures and compete for a spot on the waitlist.

Luxury Brand Montblanc Writes a New Chapter With Elegant Premium E-note

Montblanc brings a touch of luxury to the digital ePaper notepad space with Digital Paper
    Montblanc

Transitioning from traditional pen and paper to digital note-taking is already a costly step for many, but Montblanc, the iconic luxury penmaker, is pushing the boundaries further with its Digital Paper e-note.

    Designed with Elegance in Mind

Developed in collaboration with design studio Akqa over the past three years, the Montblanc Digital Paper promises an elegant digital workspace where users can comfortably write, sketch, or annotate.

While Montblanc hasn’t revealed the exact E Ink technology behind the display, the device features a monochrome screen protected by glass and encased in an aluminum frame. It comes with a stylus that resembles Montblanc’s premium fineliners, offering haptic feedback, 4,000 levels of sensitivity, replaceable nibs, and wireless charging.

“A companion for those who write not merely to communicate, but to leave an impression”
    Montblanc

The pen attaches magnetically to a recessed slot on the front of the e-note and connects via Bluetooth 5.4, though it won’t stream audio to headphones or speakers. Instead, Montblanc provides a companion mobile app for syncing.

    Practical Features and Battery Life

Other features include dual-band Wi-Fi for backups and sharing, 64 GB of internal storage, and a selection of templates such as planners, journals, and storyboards. Power comes from a 3,740-mAh battery charged through USB-C, though Montblanc hasn’t specified runtime per charge.

“Montblanc Digital Paper unleashes creativity on an infinite canvas, where every thought, sketch, and idea can be captured, stored, and searched with ease,” the company explained. “Paired with our inkflow-inspired technology and adaptable tips, it recreates the tactile feel of writing on paper with a Montblanc pen.”

    Dimensions and Weight

    Weighing 436 g (15.3 oz) plus an additional 17 g for the pen, the device measures 222 x 191 x 4.9 mm (8.7 x 7.5 x 0.19 in), suggesting a display size of around 10.3 inches.

As expected from a luxury brand, the Montblanc Digital Paper carries a steep price tag—US$905—significantly higher than rivals like reMarkable or PocketBook. Available in three color options, it marks Montblanc’s first dedicated ePaper device, following its earlier Augmented Paper line. While not built to push technological limits, it clearly doubles as a status symbol for style-conscious note-takers.
