How to Deliver a Baby?
The miracle of life does not start when a child comes out but when the sperm and the ovule meet together, there is a brand-new life. Midwifery is the bridge that connects the little new life with the outside world. So lots of training, preparation, self-control, and commitment need to take place before a Midwifery student is approved and excels.
Life Cycle
Old people dying and tiny babies coming out are both part of the life cycle and nature maintenance. In modern society, it is important to approach how young Midwifery students learn to bring to this world a tinny being.
Fundamentals and Questions
Assuming that the procedures are all the same the first thing is to know that you are called to this job, secondly, it is crucial to have the sense of touch and feel the child that is still in the womb, these abilities are a mixture of talent, experience, and hard work.
In the beginning Midwifery students feel a bit confused about how to distinguish which side is the baby lying on, where is the head, and if they are touching properly but they still get very emotional with the new life movements.
The Bad Days and Reports
Well, not all days are bright and shiny there are bad days and even dark ones, as a child that has already been diagnosed with health conditions since the mother´s womb that is more demanding and stressful. On top of that, we have those women who are going to face the operation room and those who want to go there, due to the strong pain. Both need kindness and lots of love and care from the Midwifery students.
Qualifying or Not?
Some students who do not work hard and smart and truly know nothing about what they are doing will not qualify. To qualify, it requires tons of confidence, motivation, and a strong spirit from the starters. Another big sacrifice students have to be willing to make is to work shifts in the evenings and weekends. Most student fears dropping the babies, parents’ opinion, and the mentor´s validation.
A Big Thanks
At the end of the day, students realize that they learn from the experience. Overall we appreciate and say thanks to those brave moms who went through several trials just to carry life for about 9 months and our appreciation extends as well to all midwifery mentors, midwives, midwifery students, and doctors throughout the world you deserve our respect for being there for us, this is a very important field.
