Apple’s upcoming iPhone 16 Pro models set to redefine the “Pro” title. With larger display sizes—6.3 inches for the Pro and 6.9 inches for the Pro Max—the phones will offer a more immersive experience without increasing the physical size, thanks to thinner bezels. These minimal bezels reduce the screen border by 30%, making the devices feel only slightly bigger while maintaining the same thickness.

A notable feature returning from the iPhone 15 Pro is the action button, now joined by a new capture button. Positioned just below the side button, this capture button provides enhanced control over photo and video functions, featuring pressure sensitivity to trigger autofocus or capture images. The camera app will likely receive substantial updates to support these hardware enhancements.

Apple is also stepping up the iPhone 16 Pro’s camera capabilities. Both models will come equipped with a 48-megapixel main camera, an ultra-wide lens, and the previously exclusive Tetra Prism telephoto lens, offering up to 5x optical and 25x digital zoom. A new Desert Titanium or Gold Titanium color also expected, marking this year’s signature look.

Under the hood, the iPhone 16 Pro powered by Apple’s fastest chip yet, the A18 Pro. With improved performance and better thermal management, this chip will support the increased demands of Apple’s expanding AI features. Complementing the chip, a stacked battery will extend the phone’s lifespan and enable faster charging, reaching 40W wired and 20W MagSafe speeds.

Iphone 16 and Iphone 16 Plus

The iPhone 16 and 16 Plus models are also receiving significant upgrades, borrowing features from last year’s Pro models. These include the dynamic island, action button, and a capture button for enhanced photo and video experiences. The camera module arranged vertically, enabling spatial video capture, a nod to future Vision Pro integration.

Available in vibrant new colors like blue, pink, and green, the base models will feature the A18 chip, faster RAM, and Apple’s updated neural engine for enhanced AI functionality. Despite being base models, the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus offer more Pro-like features than ever before, making them appealing choices for most users.
