The fast food industry has been serving what we can boldly call poison (if consumed frequently), we know a few of them: Hamburgers, hotdogs, fried chips, and cool drinks like Coca-Cola, and Pepsi, to name a few.

Two questions come up: is this industry taking over because people spend less time preparing their meals? Or are they just fascinated with modern conveniences? Well, despite the kind of answer we might have we assume that the connection between diet and diseases is really evident. This includes how food is made, and its conservation. Nutrients: are substances that our bodies need to function properly and maintain good health. They are essential for growth, energy production, immune system function, and many other bodily processes. There are six main types of nutrients that we need in our diet:

Carbohydrates: provide energy for the body, found in foods such as fruits, vegetables, grains, and sugars.

Proteins: necessary for growth and repair of tissues, found in foods such as meat, fish, dairy, beans, and nuts.

Fats: provide energy and help absorb certain vitamins, found in foods such as oils, butter, nuts, and meats.

Vitamins: organic compounds that regulate various bodily functions, found in foods such as fruits, vegetables, and grains.

Minerals: inorganic compounds that help maintain proper bodily functions, found in foods such as dairy, meats, and fruits.
