Lunatec’s BPA-Free Lid for Outdoor Enthusiasts

Presently featured in a Kickstarter campaign, the BPA-free lid is produced by Lunatec, an outdoor equipment company based in San Diego.

This lid is designed to work with insulated water bottles from popular brands like Hydroflask, Takeya, and Thermoflask. Additionally, it’s suitable for use with Lunatec’s own 1,000-ml stainless steel vacuum-insulated bottle.

To utilize the Hydration Spray Lid, simply pump it a few times to create pressure inside the bottle, rotate the nozzle to select from Mist, Stream, or Spray modes, and then press the trigger to initiate the flow.

Choosing Between Mist, Stream, and Spray Functions

Mist is ideal for refreshing yourself and works exceptionally well when the bottle contains ice. Stream delivers a focused stream of water, making it suitable for tasks like removing mud from your shoes. Spray, on the other hand, is more practical for activities such as cleaning utensils and washing your hands.

And, in Spray mode, you can still drink from the bottle by directing the nozzle into your mouth.

The water flosser tip is an optional extra

Supporters can also choose a set of water flosser and bidet tips, designed by Lunatec for both “your chewer and your pooer.” These tips can be affixed to a silicone extension tube for convenient use, and they are color-coded to avoid any mix-ups.

Pricing and Packages for the Hydration Spray Lid

If the Hydration Spray Lid successfully goes into production, a pledge of $20 will secure one, with the planned retail price set at $25. Various packages are offered, including a kit with a lid, bottle, extension tube, and flosser and bidet tips for $65 (retail $70).
