Revolutionary iPhone Toaster Charges Your Phone to 100% in Just 2 Seconds

One of the most talked-about products at CES 2025 isn’t a giant ultra-clear TV or a futuristic EV that soars through the sky. Instead, it’s the Swippitt IPS, a revolutionary solution for mobile phone charging. Say goodbye to tethering your iPhone to a power outlet or wireless pad for hours—just pop it into the toaster-like Swippitt Hub, and in seconds, your phone is ready to go with a full battery.

The Truth Behind “Two-Second Charging

While “two-second charging” might sound like a technological miracle, it’s not quite what it seems. Swippitt hasn’t bypassed charging times with some high-voltage breakthrough. Instead, it has created an Instant Power System (IPS)—a clever combination of advanced digital technology and practical mechanical design, delivering a seamless battery-swapping experience.

Swippitt debuted the IPS hardware at CES 2025 and plans to begin shipping to customers in June

The Swippitt Hub is a desktop unit resembling a toaster, designed to store and charge up to five 3,500-mAh battery packs simultaneously. Swippitt’s proprietary software manages the five batteries, optimizing charging and ensuring power level consistency.

Dual Functionality for Enhanced Battery Life

Rather than using phone-specific internal batteries, the system employs Swippitt Link add-on packs. These packs function as both protective cases and additional batteries, effectively doubling the phone’s battery life. When the phone is placed into the Hub slot, the original Link case is removed and replaced with a fully charged one via an internal conveyor system, automatically initiating the charging process on the now-depleted Link pack.

The battery-swapping process is incredibly quick, taking only two seconds, allowing you to grab your phone and go without having to leave it behind or wait around the charger. It’s quite convenient.

A Convenient Charging Solution for Homes and Offices

With the ability to charge five batteries at once, a single Swippitt Hub offers a practical solution for households and offices. Multiple users can quickly swap out their batteries one after another, as the Hub is ready for a new battery replacement just four seconds after the previous one.

The third component of the IPS is an app that provides insights into battery life, system management, phone location, and more. It also tracks battery usage patterns and allows users to set up security measures to prevent unauthorized access to the batteries.

Compatibility and Availability at Launch

While the IPS offers an innovative way to manage smartphone battery life, there are a few drawbacks. Firstly, the Link battery cases will only be compatible with iPhone 14, 15, and 16 models at launch. Swippitt plans to expand compatibility to Android devices and other iPhone models by the end of 2025, but for now, the system will be limited to a select range of phones.

Secondly, purchasing up to five Link battery cases at $125 each, along with the $450 Hub, is significantly more expensive than using a traditional plug-in charger. The total cost for the system is over $1,000, which may be worth it for heavy smartphone users who need fast battery replenishment but might not appeal to everyone.

Prospective buyers will soon have the chance to decide if Swippitt’s system is worth the investment, as preorders are set to launch soon. Those interested can sign up for notifications on the company’s website, and early buyers can take advantage of a 30% January discount, combined with a $100 CES discount, available until January 17. Shipping is expected to begin in June 2025.
