Startup Shows Off Pillow That Detects Snoring and Automatically Adjusts Your Head

A startup has created a pillow that they claim detects snoring while a user is sleeping and then physically moves their head to quit the awful noise, hopefully allowing snorers’ partners to have a good night’s sleep without the necessity for a mouthguard or headgear-laden machines.
The device, referred to as the Motion Pillow, seems pretty impressive. According to the company’s wild ride of a site, it first utilizes device learning to spot the sound of the users’ snoring, perfecting its profile in time.
When it spots snoring throughout the night, the pillow jumps into action, inflating to adjust the position of the head of the user. If the snoring subsides, the pillow decreases. Everybody is happy, especially romantic partners.
“With Motion Pillow,” reads the startup’s site, which in addition states that 93.7% of users experienced lowered snoring in clinical trials, “metal music becomes classical music.”

While reviews online are rare, we did find one on a site known as High Tech Dad that gave a glowing evaluation of the device.
